Phineas Products is committed to the reuse and recycling of our products where ever possible.
We encourage retailers to either purchase peel-able size labels to allow for reuse in store or to participate in our recycling program where we will collect used hangers from DC's and recycle the hanger into reprocessed material. This material can be used to make new hangers or 3rd party products.
All our products are recyclable at the end of their life and we see it as an environmental and social responsibility to encourage retailers not to allow the hangers to end up in land fill. We strongly recommend that hangers are not sold with the product and that they are collected and returned to us to deal with in a sustainable manner. All our recycling is done in the UK and we do not export our waste hangers to the Far East. All products are marked with a recycling code found on the rear of the hanger.
Our products are generally manufactured from either Polystyrene (PS) or Polypropylene (PP). We can accept a mixture of materials including Polystryrene, Polypropylene, steel, paper or plastic labels and rubber.
