Phineas Products is committed to minimising its effect on the environment and have taken the following measures:
- Suppliers are encouraged to use efficient manufacturing processes to reduce their emissions and their effect on the local environment
- Our recycling program encourages our customers (of all sizes) to recycle as much products we supply as possible
- Products are manufactured (where economically viable) as close to the point of delivery as is possible. This enables us to reduce the carbon emissions from transportation and guarantee timely deliveries
- The business has a "no company car policy" and is a member of a national car sharing scheme for when car travel is essential
- We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and have been recording our emissions over the last 2 years in order to set ourselves new targets to reduce in whatever way we can
- Implementation of green travel plan to encourage all staff to use public transport or bicycles where ever possible for commuting and business mileage
- All new printing material made on recycled paper where ever possible
