Phineas Products is committed to the reuse and recycling of our products wherever possible.
We encourage retailers to purchase peel-able size labels and participate in our reuse program where we collect used hangers from store DC's and return to our factory for reuse into the supply chain or to recycle the hanger into reprocessed material. This material can be used to make new hangers if introduced at less than 10%, without affecting the quality of the hanger.
All our products are reusable or recyclable at the end of their life and we see it as an environmental and social responsibility to encourage retailers not to allow the hangers to end up in land fill. We strongly recommend that hangers are not sold with the product and that they are collected and returned to us to deal with in a sustainable manner. All products are marked with a recycling code found on the rear of the hanger.
Our products are generally manufactured from either Polystyrene (PS) or Polypropylene (PP). We can accept a mixture of materials including Polystryrene, Polypropylene, steel, paper or plastic labels and rubber.
